All in a pack that’s half the weight of an equivalent size NiMH battery. This makes the overall vehicle weight lighter for dramatically improved acceleration. Li-Poly batteries also have a nominal voltage of 7.4V compared to the 7.2V of regular NiMH batteries, and have much lower internal resistance. This leads to improved top speeds and 'punch' off the line when compared to NiMH batteries.
